| old navy commercials really annoy me. do they bother anyone else? i especially dislike their "item of the week" ones. and i won't even get into their "old navy fleece" and "tech vest" ones from way back. i have nothing further. i have nothing intellectually stimulating to contribute to humanity today. hope this will do for today. peace. | | |
| you know what....donald duck never wore pants. but every time he gets out of the shower, he always wraps a towel around his waist. i mean, what's that about? this is my most favorite chandler comment from friends | | |
| reason #532 to laugh at myself: i am non-existent in "passenger airbag land." | | |
| Laugh uncontrollably....it clears the mind. oh and how i love to laugh.
--on a side note--
myspace: friendster's more popular sibling. and for all who have joined...don't be ashamed. embrace your addiction to self absorbed online outlets for todays sendentary human.
xanga: myspace's snobby-i think i'm better than you-cousin.
| note to all: the following entry reveals my "deep" thoughts on February 13, 2006...enjoy.
so tomorrow is valentine's day...and i could care less. ba humbug. eh. just another day, another aisle at walmart, another greeting card to buy. but, i did take notice that the valentine aisle at walmart has morphed into an entire section of the store. hope it's not contagious--i walked through it yesterday. maybe i need a history lesson in order to understand the significance of the day and thus appreciate it. as of now...it's just cupid, flowers, and those gross candy hearts. but hey, i'm not complaining...wait...yes i am. at least i have an excuse to wear pink and eat chocolate...as if i needed an excuse puhleeeze. i love pink for all you people out there that celebrate...i'm not judging you. i'm just sharing my thoughts. and, i'm not some bitter girl who wishes she had someone to share a root beer float with under the stars on feb. 14th. rather, me and my boyfriend find a creative way each year to "un-celebrate" st. valentine's calendar day--which i guess means we still celebrate it...just unconventionally. one year...it was outlet shopping. another, it was barbeque at rudy's. so yum. nothing says love like some extra moist brisket and a full rack of baby back ribs. another year we exchanged "homemade" valentines on wendy's napkins. this year...our protest has been mocked by my siblings who are skeptical about our indifference towards this day o'love. they swear that i'd be angry if a cliche of a dozen red roses was not delivered to my place of employment. they swear i'd be giddy if cupid came to my doorstep with a puppy and some chocolate. perhaps? only, i'm not the "giddy" type. and now, i ask myself what many may be wondering as well. "self: why devote an entire entry to a day which i so passionately claim to 'care less' about" to which i can only reply " ???? ---it's xanga and i need an outlet for my sarcasm" please don't judge me for now, i'm off to wash my pink scrubs that i plan to wear to the hospital tomorrow. ay me. oooh, and a root beer float sounds grand. mmm. hugs and kisses to all....muahahaha.
